The problem
A 12-person, 4-van operation running on paper job sheets, holiday requests in WhatsApp and certificate expiry dates in a spreadsheet. No reliable record of who was on site, when, or what they did.
What we built
- A phone app for crews: the day's jobs, job sheets with photos and a customer signature, van checks with defect reporting, holiday requests, and documents to read and sign.
- A desktop dashboard for the office: a live view of the day, a weekly scheduler, staff and certificate tracking, van and defect management, document sign-off and exportable reports.
- NFC tags in the vans and at client sites, so a tap opens the right check or proves attendance.
What it changes
- Evidence of attendance without anyone writing anything down.
- Certificate and MOT expiry surfaced before it becomes a problem.
- An auditable record against every site visit.
